I am home and it is great. That's pretty much it. I slept for 13 hours last night. I didn't bring my laptop home so I won't be obsessively on Pinterest and applying for jobs like a whacko for a month. I'm going to make art and read classic literature and crochet and ohhhhmygoodness I love not doing anything academic. It still hasn't hit me that I don't have to go back next week. But when it does...oh the joy! I get to see all three of my grandparents over break too, which is rare. I'm pretty much excited.
I'm mostly thankful for time to process through what God has dumped/taught me this semester...and learning to put it to action instead of hiding in my room eating peanut butter and feeling mega overwhelmed. I want to actually live it out. Which usually means putting pants on. Which, thank goodness, I won't have to do for at least another week. So that's good.
Growing up. Learning to legitimately rest. Taking time to think about things. Not being handcuffed to the Internet. Break is going to be so sweet.
xoxo Jo
