1 [remembering, not regretting]

So I didn't have time to write about this on sunday, but at church we had a communion sunday. it was incredible because i had one of those everything-you-tried-to-forget-for-the-past-year-comes-crashing-violently-on-your-heart moments.
and as i was holding that weird little piece of unleavened bread, i was struck by God's grace. I remembered every time I rejected what He gently asked me to do. I remembered every time I ignored Him, yelled "NO!" to Him, forgot Him, hated Him.
And all I could see was that cross.
And the power of the word "love" coming from our God's lips was so radical, it blew me away. Love so amazing, He died when I should have. We switched places. He took everything.
And this love, this something that happened two thousand years ago is still so powerful, it moves souls, it changes hearts, it brings back the broken, soothes old pains, protects against coming onslaught, lasts for ever and always and eternity and infinity and even beyond our comprehension of time and space and reality and being.
A love so encompassing, it saved the world.
And it is that love that saved me.

So I hope that I never forget that, even with a new...numerical label.

Well.
This is my last day forever of being 15.
Wow.
15 was the most amazing year of my life.
and I know 16's going to be even more incredible.

7

I really wish I could loosen the muscles in my neck. Because i always fall asleep in strange positions and i wake up feeling awful. sleep is supposed to be refreshing. or so i've heard.
the age of 16 is like clothes. underneath, i'll still be the same soul, but on the surface it's a whole new me.
my brother was singing the song "secret agent man" today, only he got the words wrong....
"secret asian man." lolol.
