15 [death by chopsticks and permitted deepness]

so....15 days until 16.

I've liked the number fifteen for a long time. I guess cause I'm fifteen now. It's a nice number, rather large and spacy, and much better than fourteen. I hated fourteen.

But let's not talk about that now.

Let's talk about how much I would like to get rid of this stupid cough.

I was supposed to sing tomorrow, but now I can't because I have no voice! 

Well I guess I could sing. I'd just sound like Amy Winehouse after she's smoked a lot, or if she were being stabbed to death with chopsticks.

Which actually might make people pay attention to worship for once, but that's totally beside the point.

I guess one of the biggest exciting things about turning 16 will mean that having deep thoughts won't surprise anyone anymore, and considering marriage and dating (um...not in that order) won't sound as crazy coming from someone "16" (ooooh! pretty number.). I'll feel like having adult-ish feelings and grown-up thoughts and ideas is normal, not strange. In other words, a day's difference will make a huge difference to me psychologically. Like that number will free me in some ways.

In some ways, I won't be as able to be retarded as I usually am -- I'll have to learn how to restrain it while staying true to myself. I'll have to learn how to grow up, and start practicing. No way am I wanting to grow up yet officially -- I'll just start trying it on for size.

Sixteen is a big number.
